Minneapolis, Minnesota – After years of interviewing for head coaching vacancies and coming up short, Leslie Frazier has finally landed a head coaching job in the place he has called home since 2007.

Frazier, 51, was named the interim head coach on November 22 after then-head coach Brad Childress was fired following a loss to the Green Bay Packers. Frazier then proceeded to win three games, while losing two, which was enough for him to earn him the job full-time.

Journey to Being a Head Coach

After a four-year playing career with the Chicago Bears, Frazier begun his coaching career three years after retirement in 1988 at Trinity College, a position he held for nine seasons. Frazier then coached defensive backs at the University of Illinois for two seasons before beginning his career as an assistant coach in the NFL.
