My mother had severe GERD, LPR, and globus for over 5 years. I personally believe globus was misdiagnosed. She also has hashimoto’s thyroiditis (autoimmune hypothyroidism) and magnesium deficiency (finally diagnosed after all these years) and both cause a lump in the throat. Try digestive enzyme supplements to help with digestion, betaine HCI with pepsin to increase stomach acid if needed – acid reflux issues are usually from low stomach acid, and magnesium supplements just in case.
